Meet Laurent

Meet Laurent, the President and CEO of Africa Green Corporation SA. His company delivers high-quality agro-industrial products and services integrating ecological, health, ethical, and social responsibility. African Green Corporation provides three services:

1. Promoting eco-responsible and socially responsible agro-industries: African Green Corporation runs a shea butter production factory in N’dali, a chili and tomato processing unit in Dassa, and a cassava-based flour project.

2. Conducting research and development to support technological innovation in agriculture. They support agribusinesses to access finance and markets, improve traceability, and transform agricultural waste into energy.

3. Supporting and advising agricultural organizations, agribusinesses and clusters.

Laurent connected with iCRA during a six-month training program funded by an IFDC project in 2006. This course developed Laurent’s skills facilitating multi-stakeholder processes, conducting action research, supporting agricultural value chains, and creating innovation platforms. There Laurent discovered that iCRA’s mission aligns with his goals. Since then iCRA and Africa Green Corporation have been collaborating on their common ambitions.

When Laurent is not working he loves to read, finding joy and inspiration in books.
