Kostas Kostopoulos
Meet Kostas
Kostas is the newest addition to the iCRA team, bringing a fresh perspective and a passion for cultures. With his enthusiasm for intercultural collaboration, he’s excited to explore how iCRA’s diverse cultures can work together even more seamlessly.
Kostas holds a degree in foreign languages and translation from Ionian University and a master’s in intercultural communication from Utrecht University. His focus is on the role of language, culture, and perception in professional settings, especially in agriculture.
He initially joined iCRA as a Communications Intern, where he applied his academic skills in real-world intercultural contexts. He is known for his open-minded, empathetic approach to building trust in work and social settings.
Now, in his second term, Kostas is a Junior Expert in Intercultural Communication. He engages the iCRA community through seminars and events, such as the iCRA Expert talk. He also finds compelling ways to showcase iCRA’s impactful work and its rich intercultural atmosphere, helping to connect and inspire the community. As a Junior Expert, he contributes to projects that align with iCRA’s mission. Outside work, Kostas enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, and discovering hidden spots along Utrecht’s canals.
“Society in its full sense, is never an entity separable from the individuals who compose it.”
