Meet Chau
Chau is a dynamic force within iCRA, blending her academic prowess with a passion for international development. With a solid foundation in agronomy and a PhD specializing in livestock science, she brings cutting-edge technical expertise in ruminant nutrition to the table. A decade-long journey in research and education has finely tuned her skills in agricultural education and project management, reflecting her unwavering dedication to addressing global food security challenges.
Hailing from Belgium, Chau is enriched by her childhood experiences in the Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, and Burundi. Fluent in English, French, and Vietnamese, she embodies a multicultural perspective and fosters cross-cultural interactions with ease. Beyond her professional endeavors, Chau finds solace in horse riding, running, and music and spending quality time with family and friends.
Chau’s mission at iCRA is clear: to spearhead agricultural education projects across multiple countries, from Benin to Egypt to Ghana and Niger. Chau’s responsibilities extend to developing and executing training programs that foster practical learning linked to labor market needs. She actively contributes to nurturing iCRA’s community of education actors and expanding iCRA’s portfolio of university and technical vocational education and training (TVET) projects.
Chau’s passion lies in making a meaningful contribution towards a better world by fostering efficient and holistic approaches to connecting people, sharing expertise, and driving positive change.
