Harnessing the potential of female water management professionals in Mali
This project improved female water management professionals’ employment opportunities in Mali. We worked with female students and existing water sector professionals. The project provided leadership, employability and gender awareness training to both groups. These sessions included public speaking practice and job application advice. 40 women also received personal mentoring and 300 university students participated in workshops. Women reported stronger professional and personal skills alongside a greater sense of confidence.
