Practical, blended dairy training

Higher education institutions from both EAR and the Netherlands collaborated in this project. Our goal was to strengthen connections between TVETs and the private sector. Aligning education with the labor market’s needs prepares students to find a job. It also presents opportunities for practice-based learning, for example through internships.

Dairy Hubs & Delta Dairy Academy

One outcome of this project were six regional ‘Dairy Hubs’. These hubs consolidate partnerships between education institutions and the private sector. They also provide a platform for knowledge exchange and attract investment. The project also developed an online learning platform called the ‘Dairy Delta Academy’. Educators in both EAR and the Netherlands now use this platform. To support this transition, iCRA trained teachers in specialized skills to deliver blended learning.
