Meet Gbenga
Meet Gbenga, the Managing Consultant and CEO of SPPS. His organization is dedicated to providing development, management, and business support services for agro-pastoral and public health-related programs. SPPS offers an array of services including training and project management, organizational development, participatory research and extension services for agro-pastoral business development. SPPS is also involved in community development and humanitarian support, focusing on public health concerns and livestock-livelihood based interventions. Gbenga’s leadership ensures the organization operates with a light structure and maintains a pool of experienced resource persons, consultants, field officers, and project assistants.
Gbenga’s first interaction with iCRA was during the inception of the 2SCALE Program in 2011-2012, through a Training-of-Trainers in Benin. Since then, Gbenga has been a valued iCRA Trainer-Mentor on the 2SCALE project, embracing the Agribusiness Cluster (ABC) approach to business for mission and development. This approach has significantly influenced his work, and he takes great pleasure in applying it to his projects. SPPS and iCRA share a common vision of resilient, innovative, and inclusive agri-food systems for sustainable development at the grassroots level. Together, promote inclusive agribusiness partnership facilitation and trust building.
“My organization and iCRA share a common vision of sustainable rural development at grassroots.”
