Meet Nicole

Nicole exudes an unwavering belief that every problem has a solution, an ethos she applies to every personal or professional challenge. With an entrepreneurial mindset and a knack for problem-solving, Nicole approaches each task with determination and ingenuity.

Born and raised in Burundi and later moving to Sweden at the age of 18, Nicole’s journey has been a testament to her role as a bridge between Africa and the rest of the world. Her studies in political science and her time at the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency within the Africa department laid the foundation for her ambition to foster knowledge exchange and collaboration. By acting as this bridge, Nicole aims to facilitate impactful initiatives and contribute to Africa’s development.

Since 2018, Nicole has been immersed in Africa’s social entrepreneurship landscape, serving as a project coordinator for various international organizations. Specializing in skills development, social innovation and the empowerment of women and youth, she has emerged as a driving force for positive change. Nicole’s reputation as a dynamic public speaker further underscores her commitment to advocating for gender equality, women’s empowerment and personal development.

Joining iCRA in October 2023 as an Educational Expert, Nicole is delighted to be part of a multicultural environment that enhances iCRA’s impact across diverse nations. She believes that effective training, empowerment and facilitating partnerships begin with a sense of humanity and an organization’s ability to learn and benefit from the different backgrounds of its people. Nicole’s presence embodies a spirit of collaboration and learning, enriching iCRA’s endeavors across borders and cultures.
